Kate is known as a Leader. Connector. Rainmaker. Problem Solver. Writer. Producer. Traveler. Music Enthusiast. Wine Enthusiast. Mother of Twins.
A successful entrepreneur in the digital marketing space for 20 years, Kate has led several teams of professionals to create award-winning marketing materials and have affected revolutionary change through process automation and marketing to businesses and organizations throughout the Coachella Valley and beyond.
A desert resident since 1980, she graduated from Palm Springs High School, College of the Desert & California State University San Bernardino, Palm Desert Campus. She pursued a varied career which has included management at JW Marriott Desert Springs and in 1996, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to form WebSites 2000. In 2005, it was bestowed the honor of Small Business of the Year in the 64th District of California. Ten years later, in early 2006, she changed the name of her company to Image Marketing Concepts and added all marketing services in addition to digital marketing. In late 2011, in an effort to focus on her family, she sold her company to a friendly competitor and became an independent consultant, only taking projects and clients that she could truly make an impact with.
Kate is community-minded and has always taken a keen interest in the growth and development of the Coachella Valley. She enjoys supporting and taking leadership roles in the many local organizations. Kate currently serves as Vice President of and Palm Springs Women in Film & Television and will take the helm as President in 2024. She has served on many non-profit boards including The Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She co-founded and serves as Volunteer CEO for AMP – Academy of Musical Performance. She previously was a Board member with College of the Desert Foundation, Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert, and Women Leaders Forum, to name a few. She volunteered as a talk radio show host for KCOD Coachella FM called Major Discovery where she explored the majors and certificate programs available at College of the Desert with faculty, students and business professional in the community. She also serves on seven Advisory Councils.
